Comics fans including yours truly got a hell of a surprise last night when Chris Evans (Steve Rogers/Captain America) and Robert Downey Jr. (Tony Stark/Iron Man) stopped by Jimmy Kimmel to unveil the first trailer for Captain America: Civil War. The trailer does a tremendous job of showing us the build towards the conflict but leaves plenty shrouded in secrecy which is what a good trailer does. I will say before anyone asks that there is no Spidey appearance, but that may change with other trailers or may just stay under wraps till May. All I have to add is that the final scene will blow you away! You’re not here to read this though so let’s get to the trailer.

After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.-via IMDB[/toggle] [/toggles]
