Fuck the Royal Rumble. I fuck that pay-per-view to the ground. I bury it to the depths of Satan’s asshole. The worst PPV I’d had ever watched was Over the Limit 2011, but this took the cake. It took the cake and drove it into a fucking volcano. There’s a problem – a BIG problem when the only match the crowd was into was the pre-show and  the Daniel Bryan vs. Bray Wyatt match. Yes, you know, the most over guy in the company gets the best crowd reaction. (Shocker right?) Wait, I have an even better idea. Let’s not put this same guy in the Royal Rumble match!

But fine, I’m happy at least they let Roman Reigns a/k/a the future of the company get 13 eliminations. Wait, no I’m not OK, because Reigns is beyond over. When he took out the other two members of The Shield, the crowd lost it; then Reigns lost to Batista, and the crowd showed they were furious. The fans were more pissed than during that insufferable WWE Championship match. You know things are boring when the crowd chants “WE WANT DIVAS!” But what can you expect, Cena and Orton have been having the same matches for 5 years. Nothing has changed, it’s not like they’ve evolved in the ring. (Get it , because Randy Orton was part of Evolution, fucking puns.) Maybe that’s what this PPV was – a bad fucking joke, like Reigns‘ lame elimination by Batista…

That’s the joke of it all. Batista. I simply don’t understand why the WWE wants him to headline ‘Mania. Do real wrestling fans or even casuals give a fuck? I guarantee buy rates will be lower than previous years because you are really trying to follow-up The Rock with Batista? Or are they just trying to have WrestleMania 30 be headlined with a bunch of part-timers? The madness that is part-timers has clearly taken the WWE by storm recently. Many are not happy with the push of these stars including “The Best in the World” CM Punk. The news of CM Punk “taking his ball and going home” doesn’t surprise me. When you’re the best and you’re being put in bullshit match after bullshit match in schizophrenic feuds, you get a little fed up.  CM Punk has done it all, and the final thing he wants to accomplish in his career is headline WrestleMania. With the way his character has been written recently, it wasn’t looking too good.

To be honest, THE RIGHT thing to do is for him to play ball and just do what the WWE wants him to do. Look what happened the last time a wrestler got everything he wanted in the creative process. Oh yeah, Hulk Hogan helped destroy WCW with that mind-set. So yes, CM Punk should just let it ride out. But, I’m a CM Punk mark and considering his past WrestleMania moments, I’d want my time in the sun too. There was a big BIG problem when CM Punk was WWE Champion and couldn’t even get to main event ‘Mania as well as the year after when he had a glorious feud with The Undertaker. Granted, Punk was pissed then, because both times his moment in the spotlight was stolen by The Rock. Now this year, it seems Punk has snapped due to Batista already stealing the main event via ways of winning the Royal Rumble. Once again, it baffles me that Batista is main eventing when he isn’t even that big of a draw. Hell, and maybe after RAW he will no longer be in the main event, the crowd didn’t seem to happy with the part-time wrestler/ full-time movie star.

Hell, this could all be a big fat shoot, but the fact of the mater is that CM Punk DOES has several reasons to leave the WWE. The WWE is changing, FAST. Come February 24th, everything we’ve known about the WWE will change thanks to the WWE Network. I, for one, am a HUGE fan of the WWE Network and I think it’s going to make Vince a lot of money – but for the rest of the roster, maybe not. Maybe the Superstars are getting gypped thanks to the PPV’s now only being $10 with the network. Maybe Punk feels he isn’t getting a fair cut. Maybe he’s just sick of all the politics and being out-shadowed by “bigger names”. Fuck, maybe he just doesn’t wanna do another goddamn Triple H vs. CM Punk feud. Do I think Punk is gone from the WWE forever? No way. The dude is a badass, Stone Cold did the same thing and finished his career a year later at ‘Mania. Do I think CM Punk will pull a similar stunt and retire in the very near future? Yes, but for now, I think we haven’t seen the last of “The Best in The World”….but no seriously, fuck CM Punk vs. Triple H at ‘Mania.
