Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration is about a month and a half away from launch on PS4. Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics are doing a lot to make the wait worth PS4 owners’ time.¬†Everything that is in the original will be in the October release. All of the DLC that has come out so far will be in it as well. Today’s new demo announces Blood Ties,¬†a new adventure with at least an hour of gameplay. This will delve into Lara’s memories of her childhood with her father. She will need this knowledge to help combat her uncle’s claim on Croft Manor. If that is not enough, there is an additional twist on the story. Nightmare Mode starts similarly to Blood Ties but Laura will have to fight a horde of undead. All of this will be included in Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration. Xbox One and PC owners that have the Season Pass will also get this content at no additional cost.
