Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter looks to bring mystery and discovery to this summer’s gaming lineup. The latest trailer expands upon the story of how Holmes even came to have a child. It is ironic that just yesterday, a friend of mine was mentioning how trailers in 2016 need to stop being devoid of gameplay. This trailer is one such offender. The reason that I give it a hall pass is that we have seen gameplay of this title. On top of that, the graphics for both cinematic and in-game action seem to be cut from similar cloths. There will be no (original) Final Fantasy VII situation when this game releases. So far, this title looks promising in terms of story and gameplay. The developers have promised a blend of exploration, investigation and action for the final product. Gameplay videos have shown that there will also be elements of stealth. Trust that we will keep you posted of new developments as they arise.
