Paris Games Week is exploding with news from Square Enix. Earlier we had the new trailer for Final Fantasy XV and now we have a Kingdom Hearts double feature! Fans have been waiting forever for Kingdom Hearts III and we still do not have a solid release date for that. Instead, the classics return once again: Kingdom Hearts 1.5 and 2.5 Remixes are coming to the PlayStation 4 on March 28, 2017.
If you missed the PS3 versions of these, they include all content from all versions of Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2. They also include the Nintendo DS games fully remastered in HD for the home console. If you do not own these for PS3 already, I highly recommend picking up this release which will give you ALL of the following on one disc:
KINGDOM HEARTS HD 1.5 ReMix
- KINGDOM HEARTS FINAL MIX
- KINGDOM HEARTS Re:Chain of Memories
- KINGDOM HEARTS 358/2 Days (HD remastered cinematics)
- KINGDOM HEARTS II FINAL MIX
- KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep FINAL MIX
- KINGDOM HEARTS Re:coded
This was not the only thing that Square Enix had up their sleeve at the Paris Games Week exhibition. Kingdom Hearts II.8 Final Chapter Prologue debuted its opening cinematic and I am sure the Paris crowd went insane. Here it is for your enjoyment:
This adventure is yours to enjoy on the PlayStation 4 on January 24, 2017.
