1st Impression:
Disney continues to repackage its animated classics as “live-action” films and while we will surely see many more of them redone I was not expecting them to release a live-action version of Lady and the Tramp. Disney is delivering a lot of solid-looking shows and films to kick off their Disney+ streaming service.

While Lady and the Tramp is not one of my personal favorite Disney films I continue to be amazed by the CGI used to make the animals speak. The ability to pull that off while still maintaining some semblance of realism and quality on par with the recently released Lion King is truly impressive. I am sure young children will appreciate this Disney classic albeit with a fresh coat of paint.
