Tom Cruise as the human version of Wall-E doesn’t seem like a bad idea. On a serious note though I have always had a soft spot for science fiction films especially post apocalyptic or futuristic stories. Tom Cruise seems to be taking riskier roles as he gets older. Oblivion has the makings of solid science fiction storytelling guided by a solid cast. I can only hope the film generates as much interest as the trailer.
Does Oblivion look more interesting than After Earth with Will Smith?
