Disney+ dominated the headlines at D23 this year as Disney prepares to take the fight to Netflix and Amazon in the streaming wars. There is a lot of information out there and we wanted to put everything one place and hopefully answer some questions about the service. Let's get right to it.

When does Disney+ go live?: Disney+ will go live on November 12, 2019

What devices will I be able to watch Disney+ on?: Disney+ will be available on the following device at launch: Mobile Apple devices and Apple TV, Google products (Android phones, Android TV devices, Google Chromecast, and Chromecast built-in devices), Xbox One, PS4 and Sony TVs with Android built-in. Roku streaming players and Roku TV models will also be capable of accessing Disney+

How much will it cost?: Disney+ will cost $6.99 per month. You can also subscribe annually for $69.99.

Can I download movies and shows?: You have unlimited downloading capabilities at your disposal to watch programming whenever you want, wherever you want.

There will also plenty of Disney films such Pirates of Caribbean, Tron, The Rocketeer and other as well as over 100 different Disney Channel original films. The “live-action” Lady and the Tramp film will also be on the service at launch.

When it comes to television shows Disney+ will have 30 seasons of The Simpsons, as well as a ton of your favorite Disney, shows including High School Musical, Boy, Meets World and others. Disney+ will also have original programming debuting on the channel including The Mandalorian which arrives on day one. Pixar properties will also have shows heading your way including Monsters at Work, Forky Asks a Question and many more.

Marvel will have a significant presence on Disney+ with Moon Knight, She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel, Loki, Hawkeye, and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier series all on the horizon with some series being a large part of Marvel's phase four.

Marvel will also have an animated What If… series coming your way that showcases alternate takes on some the MCU's most iconic moments including Peggy Carter taking the super-soldier serum instead of Cap just for starters plus many other wild takes on existing Marvel origins and stories all voiced by a variety of stars from the MCU including Hayley Atwell, Sebastian Stan, and others.

Will episodes be released all at once for binge-watching?: Sorry binge-watchers but Disney+ original programming will be released weekly much like your favorite shows on cable and broadcast television. DC does something similar with their service.
