HITMAN fans keep getting more and more reasons to keep their pistols clean, blades sharp and . . . rubber duckies quacking. Aside from the planned episodes, the game will now get a bonus summer episode. The bad news is that today's release confirms there will be no new episode in June. The good news is that the bonus episode will launch on Tuesday, July 19, 2016! The bonus episode will contain not one, but two missions. One will take place in Sapienza at night. here is a quick teaser image for that new content:
Yes, that is Sapienza and yes, this mission will take place at night on a movie set in the town square. Here is the description of the upcoming Sapienza mission titled The Icon:
“When the town of Sapienza is taken over by a film crew shooting a new sci-fi blockbuster. Agent 47 must aim to retire one of the cast members during a climactic scene being staged late at night in the town square.”
New opportunities and accidents await. Square Enix and Io-Interactive have also ensured that the pictured giant robot will be part of the mission. From Sapienza, we move on to Marrakesh for our second mission:
Here is the description that has been provided for A House Built on Sand:
“Set at the frenetic night markets in Marrakesh, a mole for a major construction company is about to sell secrets to their largest rivals. Agent 47 is tasked with making sure the leak stops there.”
I am very interested in this second mission because it sounds like this will be an outdoor assassination with potential for many witnesses. How will 47 pull this one off in true HITMAN style?
