Jupiter & Mars Story Trailer

The Statue of Liberty stands tall in the sky, symbolizing the story of freedom and hope.

Tigertron, an award-winning New York City-based developer of environmentally-inspired video games, has released a new story trailer for its upcoming PlayStation VR-compatible PlayStation 4 title, Jupiter & Mars, highlighting the game’s core narrative.

Shown for the first time during The Bit Awards ceremony in New York City, the trailer tells the premise from the perspective of the future Earth’s ‘elder whales,’ an ancient race of whales that enlists two bottlenose dolphins, Jupiter and Mars, to help restore the oceans from disruptive and damaging pollution emanating from man-made devices. Designed by the producer of Lumines: Electronic Symphony, Jupiter & Mars lets players explore an underwater future world where all of the Earth’s coastal cities have been swallowed up by the sea. The game surfaces on PS4 and PSVR in spring 2019.

Jupiter & Mars is an underwater adventure that attempts to give players a deeper appreciation for the oceans and, especially through VR, leave a first-hand impression of the issues of sea level rising, coral bleaching, and plastics in the ocean. The game is being developed in partnership with acclaimed ocean organizations SeaLegacy and The Ocean Foundation.
