Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition Coming to PC

Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition expanded upon hit that became the 2015 Xbox game of the year. The definitive edition added more story elements, new powers and new challenges. Next month, this instant Xbox classic is coming to PC in all of its glory. Due to the beautiful artistic design of the game, many fans asked for a retail boxed version. As Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition makes its way to Steam, this is exactly what fans will get. There will be two boxed versions released on June 14, 2016. First we have the standard version:

The standard version includes regular DVD packaging, the game disc and a poster. This version will retail for $19.99. If you are looking for something a bit more collectible, there is a limited edition coming out the same day:

Either box is beautiful, but collectors are going to want ot get their pre-orders in if they want the steelbox (retail $29.99). If you have only experienced the original game then here is a rundown of what is new in the definitive edition:

  • Packed with new and additional content: new areas, new abilities, more story sequences, multiple difficulty modes, fast travel between areas and much more!
  • Discover Naru's past in two brand new environments
  • Master two powerful new abilities — Dash and Light Burst
  • Find new secret areas and explore Nibel faster by teleporting between Spirit Wells

If you are like me and do not (yet) have an Xbox One, now is the time to experience the beauty of this game.
