Rise of the Tomb Raider PC Tech Feature

Rise of the Tomb Raider - cover

Rise of the Tomb Raider wowed Xbox gamers in November with a great story and exceptional graphics. Today, Square Enix releases a trailer basically showing us how much more beautiful the game is going to look on PC. For some reason, they are doing this with a narrative full of technical terms that most anyone outside of NVIDIA or AMD will not really understand. I am not trying to down the game in any way because I love Lara and her adventures, but let's face a simple fact:

Rise of the Tomb Raider for PC hits stores tomorrow. If you have not purchased it already or plan to within the next week or so, a tech video is not going to change your mind.

You know what would get people running to the store? An announcement that goes a little something like this:

“Hey, we over here at Square Enix want to thank you for your support of the Tomb Raider franchise. We will admit that we kinda screwed the pooch with the Xbox versions and we want to assure you that tomorrow's PC release has been thoroughly quality tested. We can assure you that there are no game-breaking glitches to worry about and that you will be able to thoroughly enjoy Lara's latest adventure. Thank you again from Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix.”

I thoroughly hope that the PC version will be bug-free because that is what they will be working off of to create the PS4 version later this year. I wish the development team the best because that is what I want when I put my money down for this game this holiday season.
