This past weekend I had the pleasure of attending Eternal Con 2015 at The Cradle of Aviation in Garden City, New York. I have to say that it was not only an immensely enjoyable experience but the overall setup and vendor selection made it more enjoyable than most events we've covered recently. I am actually sharing stuff about this event voluntarily because it was that good and I know a lot of our local readers and listeners will want to add it to their calendars for next year.

Here is some of the great cosplay from the show floor.

There were not only fans dressed up as their favorites, but a few iconic vehicles were on display as well including K.I.T.T from Knight Rider.

We even captured a bit of video of K.I.T.T. which if you listen closely has the iconic sound from the show.

As a nostalgic 80's baby, I felt my inner child was in heaven with some of the many great toys and collectibles on display from my childhood. I did pick up some Funko Pops and an amazing luchador mask courtesy of Cositas Mexicanas (which may end up being worn on air at least once).

In closing, I want to say that Eternal Con exceed my expectations both from a coverage standpoint and from a fun standpoint. While everyone is clamoring for NYCC and its circus-like atmosphere, I am clamoring for a warm summer day at the Cradle of Aviation for another Eternal Con. 2016 is a long way off!
