With Wrestlemania a week away, my excitement is growing by the day. To me I have the feeling of an eight year old waiting for Christmas or their birthday approaching anticipating the presents coming that day. Wrestling’s biggest event of the year will be in the New York/New Jersey area and looks to packed to the gills with matches and events leading up to the big show. This will be my one moment where I can truly mark out and be a fan. Wrestlemania may be a once and a lifetime event to be a part of, well I might be planning a trip to New Orleans, regardless of the environment and elements, this is the show to beat. Some wrestling fans may be skeptical about the card and the place it’s being held but as for me, I DON’T CARE!!! IT’S WRESTLEMANIA!!! Honestly, I am more critical about my love for wrestling and its creative direction than I am about any other passions I have in my life but I still know that Wrestlemania is the events of all events. I swear, sometimes even smart marks can get on my damn nerves and I am a smart mark myself! Every wrestling fan wants things to go their way. Cena turning heel, Ring of Honor being a headline promotion, TNA gets better writers, every fan think they know more than the powers that be. 9 out of 10 times they may be right, but when it comes to Wrestlemania, fans need to shut their lips, stop typing, and watch the damn show. So, with that being said I bring to you…

Face/Heel of the Week

Face of the Week: Triple H (WWE)

Well, looks like the COO of the WWE isn’t ready to hang up his boots just yet. The Game seems to have unfinished business to take care regardless of what Bret Hart thinks about his career. Triple H will be stepping back into the ring for possibly one last time. But wait, wasn’t he supposed to be retired after last year’s Wrestlemania? Oh well, Triple H will go against the monster who not only broke his arm, but his best friend’s arm, AND his father in law’s hip. Brock Lesnar will be faced in a No Holds Barred match with a man who has nothing but revenge in his sights. I have been a Triple H fan since even before The Attitude Era and to see his transformation through the years is utterly amazing. The man is highly recognized and has a mind for the business. So why is he in a match in Wrestlemania? To put on a show for one last time because the man has nothing to prove but his love for the business makes him the man who he is. In my gut I have a feeling this match will have twists and turns and may possibly be a match of the night contender. The Cerebral Assassin will once again have us bowing at his feet because I have faith this match will show why he is the King of Kings.

Heel of the Week: The Shield (WWE)

And why shouldn’t they be recognized on this page? Ever since these men stepped onto the scene there has been nothing but carnage and devastation for those in their path. Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns have been the answer to all the indy fan’s dreams. Individually these men could take on the roster and cause damage and as a unit they are a wrecking crew bent on destruction. These men are bearing down the Road to Wrestlemania against three main event stars in Big Show, Sheamus, and Randy Orton, who I believe that we will finally see the heel turn we have been dying to see. The last time we saw The Shield in a match I personally witnessed their team work at WWE TLC. These men are tactical and know how to initiate a strike on those who in their eye need to provided a little of justice. At Wrestlemania I believe we will see some men who are going to take their talents to the next level. Believe in The Shield.
