Remember classics like Operation Wolf, Time Crisis, House of the Dead and even the not so classics like Let’s Go Jungle!? Grab a buddy or three and nothing beats a good arcade rail shooter. Two words explain why we love rail shooters; they are ultra and violence. Developer Hesaw through Focus Home Interactive decided to make the video game equivalent of mixing chocolate and peanut butter by mixing Image comics with the traditional rail shooter formula. What gamers get is Blue Estate, based on Viktor Kalvachev’s gritty crime drama. Get ready for sex, money and tons of guns. Honestly, what more do you need to know?

You are Tony Luciano, son of LA crime boss Don Luciano and you are out to put a serious hurt on the Sik gang, guilty of kidnapping his “Helen of Troy.” Team up with a buddy who will play as Clarence, an ex-navy seal that has to play janitor whilst wading knee deep in the shit that Tony is stirring up all over town. Tony will have to surmount all kinds of obstacles, from gangsters to leg-humping Chihuahuas to Tony’s own hair. Blue Estate comes to PS4 and Xbox One tomorrow, June 24. the motion control features of the Dualshock 4 will be utilized on the PS4 and those of the Kinect will be used on Xbox One.
