Smallville: Season 10 Here We Come….

10 Seasons!

That's what many of you are probably saying. How the h-e-double hockey sticks did Smallville make it to ten seasons? Well folks, it has. But, sadly (or not) that's all we are getting from our favorite not-really-Superman-yet Clark Kent. At the CW Upfronts (and leaked by The Blur himself Tom Welling in an interview), it has been told to the world that Smallville will end it's sucessful run with this coming season.

Also, we have learned that Allison Mack, who has played heroine Chloe Sullivan since Season 1, has opted NOT to come back as a series regular for the final season. However, she will be in several episodes to wrap Chloe's story. I am sure many of you die-hard enthusiasts will be happy to hear this, as Chloe is not a real character in the DC Universe.

Also at the Upfronts, we got a smidge of season synopsis: S10 will give us more of the iconic romance between Lois and Clark. Also,  Clark becomes more in-tune with his Super destiny (which is obviously the way to go by my thoughts). We also learned that Cassidy Freeman (Tess Mercer) is included in the list of returning series regulars. (Wait, didn't she just die?!?!) So is the way of the TV season finale my friends.

What do you think? Happy to see Chloe ending her Smallville existence? Can't wait to see Clark take flight for real -with a cape? Will you be tuning in for Season 10?

Please also note that Fridays on the CW now have Smallville at 8PM followed by my wonderful Winchester boys on Supernatural at 9PM. Be sure to tune in for both of these shows.
