Spanish Television Characters Come To Funko’s Pop! Television Line

If you grew up in a old school hispanic household where Telemundo and Univision were required viewing then you'll recognize Funko's latest additions to the their Pop! television line. The first is El Chapulin Colorado. If you're not familiar with El Chapulin here is a bit of background. 


“More agile than a turtle, stronger than a mouse, nobler than a lettuce,
his shield is a heart … It’s Captain Hooper!” Also known as
El Chapulín Colorado, the Mexican television comedy
superhero was the star of the show of the same name that
ran for eight seasons and 250 episodes between 1970 and 1979.

The second character making his Pop! debut is El Chavo del Ocho. El Chavo del Ocho ran from 1971 to 1980 with eight seasons of programming and nearly 300 episodes. Fans can add El Chavo to their collection along with El Chapulin Colorado. Check out El Chavo del Ocho below.
