The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Keeps Promises To Fans

CD Projekt Red was happy to announce yesterday that they have released all sixteen of the free DLC packs they promised to players of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The final add-on is the long-awaited New Game + option, allowing the player to experience the multiple endings that the game offers. This is a big announcement for both publishe and gamers alike because this was not something you had to pre-order to get in on. It was not only those who got the game at launch that were eligible for this content. If you have yet to experience The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt but want to, you will still get all sixteen DLC packs absolutely free. Whether you buy the disc or download digitally today, tomorrow or next month, that content is yours just as a thank you from CD Projekt Red. Does this mean that anythign else that comes out for the game will have a price tag? Only time will tell, but it would not be a bad thing considering CD Projekt Red's stance on what paid content should be. Since launch, players have had the option to buy the Expansion Pass for the game. The pass is $24.99 and promises two additional story packs coming sometime next year. These two packs promise a minimum of thirty additional hours of gameplay, making the price tag a bargain. Both myself and the creators of this game hope that the example set by The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt becomes the rule instead of the exception. If you have played the game, there is little doubt that you love it and if you have not . . . what are you waiting for?

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is available for PC (via Steam, GOG Galaxy and Origin), PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
