You Can Build the “Back to the Future” DeLorean with Fanhome

Last updated:

Get ready to join Doc Brown and Marty McFly on the adventure of a lifetime, as Fanhome reintroduces a build-up model of the DMC DeLorean Time Machine as seen in the beloved
Back to the Future trilogy, from Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment.

Designed by Joe Walser, the galaxy’s leading Back to the Future time machine expert, and previously available through Eaglemoss/Hero Collector, this 1:8 scale die-cast metal model of the famous car features multiple assembly stages that click and screw together. When complete, the DeLorean Time Machine measures 21 inches long and boasts everything a fan could possibly desire: gull-wing doors and trunk that fully open; dashboard readings that illuminate (including the speedometer that shows when the car hits 88 MPH); time circuits; working headlights, brake lights, and interior lights; and, of course, the flux capacitor.

Subscribers receive a package each month that contains multiple assembly stages with everything
required to build the model, which is detailed replica of Back to the Future’s Time Machine – a 1981 DeLorean DMC-12. The first package includes two assembly stages, with the second containing four assembly stages, and all subsequent packages delivering five assembly stages directly to modelers’ homes.

Each stage comes with a detailed magazine filled with step-by-step instructions, facts, interviews with Back to the Future cast and crew, and other informative articles. Additionally, subscribers also receive the following gifts throughout their subscription: a full-size metal replica of the OUTTA TIME license plate, a Back to the Future t-shirt, a magazine binder, and a trio of Back to the Future DeLorean Time Machine posters.

“Fanhome is thrilled to pick up where Eaglemoss left off and bring the Back to the Future DeLorean Time Machine to fans around the world,” Nuño Pasqual del Pobil, Chief Digital Marketing & Communication Officer of Fanhome, said in a statement. “This is one of the most famous cars in entertainment history.

We know that fans are excited and have been eagerly awaiting the chance to sign up for a subscription, and we expect that this build-up model will sell out quickly.”
