Ethan Hawke has always been a serviceable actor in all his roles and over the last year he has slowly inched back into leading man territory. I definitely think his work in Sinister is what got him back on track and Getaway looks to capitalize on that momentum. Selena Gomez also seems to be hitting her stride as an actress after her solid work in Spring Breakers. The true test will be if audiences are willing to give Hawke a chance in what feels like a darker version of Speed. I personally want to see Jon Voight in action since he is clearly the villain and always brings his A game to his more devious roles.
