Monsters Inc. has long been a top five Pixar film for me. Disney has decided to bring the franchise back with its Monsters University prequel and share the origin of Mike & Sully’s friendship. While I am sure it will be a solid outing for Pixar there is concern that in waiting as they did for a sequel they may have lost some momentum. We won’t have to wait long to see if Monsters University scares up some revenue for Disney/Pixar. Who’s heading to the theater on opening day to see this?
