The next series of Marvel films begins with Iron Man in a few weeks but I have been looking forward to seeing the trailer for Thor because I was curious to see if Kenneth Branagh’s vision would remain intact even with Game of Thrones Alan Taylor at the helm. Taylor maintains the overall foundation laid by Branagh but adds all those subtle touches that make Game of Thrones a pleasure to watch every Sunday. Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston continue to have great onscreen chemistry even in their small exchange seen in the trailer. The wildcard in this film will be Christopher Eccleston who will be playing Malekith since he has the potential to outdo Hiddleston in the villain department. I am pumped for Marvel’s next set of films and Thor looks like another solid entry.
