The tablet wars continue to get new combatants with Toshiba introducing the Toshiba Thrive which drops in mid July. This tablet has a few things that set it apart from the other tablets.
Here is some of the features of the Toshiba Thrive:
- 2 USB Ports
- Mini USB
- Full size HDMI out
- Full size SD card slot
- 5MP rear cam
- 2MP front facing camera
- Removable battery
The Thrive runs on a Tegra 2 with Android 3.1. Toshiba is going out of its way to provide ample accessories like docks,cases and a diverse color selection. The Thrive will come in three pricing tiers- 8GB ($429) , 16GB ($479) and 32GB ($579) but the catch is that these are all Wi-Fi models which I am sure will make some people unhappy.
