HBO has come a long way from the days of Dream On, Kids in The Hall and The Larry Sanders Show with its impressive line-up of original programming and this year’s Emmy Awards see the premium cable juggernaut scoring 94 nominations across its wide array of shows with Game of Thrones securing 23 nominations and Veep and Silicon Valley also getting double-digit nominations.
