Daydreamer debuted on Steam last summer to solid reviews from gamers. In a nutshell, if you remember classic side-scrolling shooters like Contra, you have an idea of what to expect. If you ever thought of playing a game like Contra as a cute little Dreamworks-inspired schoolgirl, in a world that would horrify Clive Barker, then Daydreamer was your go to. Fast-forward to the present and the surreal shooter is making its way to the PS4 and Xbox One. Daydreamer: Awakened Edition, is the new, improved version of the original with new content, gameplay updates and tweaks. Daydreamer: Awakened Edition, along with the original were created entirely by Roland Womack. After watching this trailer, I think you will agree that this is a man that either needs serious medication or maybe he is taking too much already. Regardless, I want to play this wacked-out game ASAP!
Daydreamer: Awakened Edition hits the PlayStation 4 on May 31 and Xbox One on June 3.
