1st Impression: For years there were rumors of James Cameron bringing Battle Angel Alita to the big screen and it is finally happening with Robert Rodriguez at the helm as director. The first few teaser trailers for Alita: Battle Angel definitely impressed in the visual department but the latest trailer showcases so much more of the effects and truly shows that CG animation has come a long way.
While big screen manga adaptations have been hit or miss either due to poor reception or whitewashing I think Alita: Battle Angel may be the film to that changes things. We’ll have to wait till December to see if that is truly the case.
