It wasn’t that long ago that I saw the first film and honestly the ending left the door open for a sequel but it was something I didn’t think the film needed. I must commend the director for using the actress from the first film and giving us a a deeper and less shaky cam version of the film. Obviously the Last Exorcism strives to be a modern day Exorcist and while they are far off the mark they definitely have a solid story thus far. I only hope that they close out the story and don’t degrade the stories much like the Exorcist sequels and prequels did.
