Battleborn got a shot in the arm today as 2K & Gearbox announced the release of Battleborn‘s fifth story operation “Phoebe and the Heart of Ekkunar”.
In this story Op, Players can journey with Phoebe to the shattered planet Ekkunar to discover the secret behind what’s holding the world together while unlocking the mysteries of the Varelsi, secrets of Ekkunar’s ancient inhabitants, the Aztanti, and find the place beyond the portals in the fifth DLC Story Operation “Phoebe and the Heart of Ekkunar.”
Each DLC Story Operation is available with the Season Pass or Digital Deluxe edition or can be purchased individually from the in-game Marketplace for 700 Platinum.
In addition to the five story operations released since Battleborn’s launch in May 2016, 2K and Gearbox Software have produced free updates and content for all players to enjoy including five free heroes, a new competitive mode: Face-Off!, new maps, broadcaster tools and much more.
