Hasbro Celebrates Spider-Man’s 60th Anniversary With A New Wave Of Marvel Legends
The announcements were not all two packs as we got some fantastic single figures of our favorite wall-crawler.
60th Anniversary Amazing Fantasy Spider-Man SRP: $27.99 Available: December 2022 Pre-order: Amazon/Entertainment Earth/Hasbro
Marvel commemorates Spider-Man's 60th with a Marvel Legends figure capturing his debut in Amazing Fantasy #15. The figure has comic accurate details and accessories, including six alternate hands, detachable underarm web-wing accessories, and web line and web shot accessories!
The last two figures are two fan-favorite Spider-Man costumes, with the first being a highly requested one.
Spider-Man's iconic Civil War Iron Spider costume is part of the 60th-anniversary celebration. This version of Spidey has tons of articulation plus the additional spider legs and an extra pair of hands to recreate a variety of poses from when Spider-Man wore this suit. This will be on many folks' radar, so get your pre-orders in.
We close things out with Spider-Man's Future Foundation suit. This suit is the stealth version of the iconic white and black costume from Spidey's time with the Future Foundation. The figure will come with an additional pair of hands plus a web accessory.
What do you think of this line of figures for Spider-Man's 60th anniversary? While I personally am impressed with the assortment and the detailing the pricing is definitely going to raise some eyebrows, especially for the Venom and Knull two-pack which is practically $80 when you factor in tax and even more with shipping in the mix. When smaller companies are putting out figures with more accessories at the $30 price tier it will surely cause some folks to give Hasbro some side-eye.
