If you are like me and read a lot of comics you fall into two categories which are
- I have a folder at my local shop and spend a fair amount of money every week.
- I wait for series to hit graphic novel format before laying out any money
The problem with either one of those is the rate you get to enjoy your books. I did the weekly comic pick up from a local shop and it ran me $50 to $75 a week which came out to $200-$300 a month which is a pain when you’re trying be a “responsible” adult. When I switched gears and tried the graphic novel approach it definitely was not as expensive but I had to wait months before I could enjoy the full run of a series I had my eye on. Marvel Unlimited proved to be a viable option since for $9.99 a month I got enjoy as many comics as I wanted and when it came to new series I only had to wait a few months for them to hit the app which obviously eased my graphic novel consumption and allowed me to jump into series I may not have picked up at my local shop.
