Suck It Wolverine! Deadpool Goes Solo to Invade Consoles

Everyone’s favorite psychopathic mercenary goes solo courtesy of Marvel and High Moon Studios (Transformers: War for Cybertron). Deadpool is a very unique character that in my opinion will thrive in the video game space.  With his typical fourth wall breaking antics fully on display I know that comic fans will be chomping at the bit to play as Wade Wilson including yours truly. But don’t take my word for it. Just watch the trailer and enjoy the carnage.

Comic-Con: Deadpool Video Game Announced, Trailer

Finally. After laser eyes in X-Men Origins: Wolverine and a great guest spot in Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions, Deadpool is getting his own video game. Simply titled Deadpool, the game is being developed by High Moon Studios, the folks behind Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, and arriving in 2013. Specific platforms were not announced.

i don’t think that it has to be open world completely but they should really make a point to have deadpool acting like the psycho he is if they do the game kinda how max payne 3 is extreamly linear but you don’t relize it because the action is so awsome i think it can be done

I did not say I hated the game either, but it was shit compared to what it could have and should have been. Deadpool is gonna be a beat ’em up game and since his offense is mainly guns, that will get boring quickly. The only way it will be good is if they do an open world, a la Prototype. I doubt they will have that kind of insight.

i didnt hate war for cybertorn i don’t see how you can screw this up that badly I mean just basically make the gameplay similar to the trailer which shouldnt be hard and people will play it

Made by High Moon Studios, which lowers my expectations even further. The Transformers War For Cybertron game was stupid.

then it should be good cuz x men orgins wolverine was pretty good

Typical hype building tactic lol. I am sure it’ll be similar to X-Men Origins Wolverine unless they break out something new

this game looks pretty dope (even though they didn’t show any gameplay)
