1st Impression: Valiant's Bloodshot heads to the big screen with Vin Diesel at the helm and while the trailer was action-packed and exciting I feel we practically got the whole movie in the trailer. Trailers are meant to drum up interest and excitement and as I said we got that but giving away so much of the plot and the plot twist is doing the film no favors. I can only hope that is just a really good misdirection tactic from Sony.
Moving away from the spoilerish aspects of the trailer I got a lot of Robocop and Man Apart vibes from the trailer which are not necessarily a bad thing. As a long-time comic book fan, I want to see Bloodshot succeed because there are so many other compelling comic book characters with great stories from other publishers and Valiant has plenty that deserve to be showcased.
We'll see how it all pans out when Bloodshot hits theaters next year. What did you think of the trailer? Gave away too much? Let us know in the comments or on social what you think.
