As soon as an actor or actress hit the big time it becomes Hollywood’s job to crank out every other film they have been in to increase their box office exposure. House At The End of The Street is a prime example since Jennifer Lawrence is the current box office darling due to The Hunger Games. One trend that continues to frustrate me as a horror film buff is the insistence of making PG and PG-13 horror films which just never measure up their R-Rated counterparts. The trailer has some decent scares but this film has made for cable written all over it.

PG-13 and horror film just do not go together. it’s like Peanut butter…and caviar.
