1st Impression: Lovelace

While its easy to look at Lovelace as the origin of Deep Throat and birth of scripted pornography the fact is that this film is more biopic than anything else so don’t walk into a theater with extra buttered popcorn expecting wall to wall nudity. Rob Epstein not only has an incredible cast but brings out a new side of Amanda Seyfried and the always underrated Peter Sarsgaard. Lovelace has the potential to become this generation’s Boogie Nights and I am sure we’ll be hearing lots of pundits complaining about the subject matter closer to the films release. If the film is as good as they say do you guys think it’ll get some award nominations?
