When I heard that Poltergeist was getting a remake I was genuinely upset as I felt the original Poltergeist from 1982 was one of those unforgettable horror films.It not only succeeded in giving us a different take on the traditional ghost story but presented it in a way that was unique. This new incarnation looks to carve its own niche and will to use a healthy dose of creepy imagery and jump scares to accomplish the task. The trailer shows promise though so I am sure I’ll give it a shot. Poltergeist arrives in theaters in July.
