1st Impression:
We had not heard much about Star Wars Episode IX after the lackluster reception to The Last Jedi and the alleged “Star Wars fatigue” but Disney dropped a new teaser for episode IX today and fans are once again sucked into the saga of a galaxy far, far away.

The teaser showcases a bit Rey's abilities along with a bunch of different shots that show us the return of Finn alongside Poe Dameron plus we get the return of Billy Dee Williams Lando Calrissian which was awesome to see. The biggest reveal besides the Rise of Skywalker title was the voice of Luke narrating the trailer and the familiar laughter of the Emperor Palpatine at the end. That reveal raises a bunch of questions and has genuinely piqued my interest to see how Disney closes out the latest trilogy.

What did you think of the reveal and the trailer? Sound off in the comments.
