HBO's official Watchmen teaser trailer.

The Watchmen mythos gets a modern coat of paint courtesy of Damon Lindelof.

Cast: Yahya Abdul Matteen II (Cal Abraham), Jeremy Irons, Don Johnson, Tom Mison, Regina King, Tim Blake Nelson, Louis Gossett Jr.
Release Date:
Fall 2019

Plot Synopsis: Created by Damon Lindelof, Watchmen is a modern-day reimagining of Alan Moore's groundbreaking graphic novel about masked vigilantes. -via IMDB

1st Impression:
The series while based on the Watchmen universe where heroes are considered outlaws seeks to stand on its own with its modern twist and no has affiliation to the Zach Snyder film based on Alan Moore's graphic novel.

While the series will borrow from the Alan Moore classic it strives to stand on its own which is intriguing especially when there are so many real-world happenings that align with the stuff Moore showcased in his book. I want to see if they can capture the same tone as the graphic novel and tackle those controversial subjects.

I can't wait till HBO releases a full trailer.
