Venom is back in action all over the Marvel universe. While Eddie Brock was my favorite Venom I have come to really appreciate work Rick Remender has put into Venom. Watching Flash Thompson slowly become one with the symbiote has been great. I will be the first to tell you that I honestly thought this new interpretation of Venom would suck but its grown on me. 2012 will see Venom join forces with Rulk,X-23 and Ghost Rider in Venom: Circle of Four and join the Secret Avengers along with a ton of other cameos. Will Marvel’s symbiote super soldier stay in control during all these adventures? We’ll find out next year. I see your point. I like the fact that the crippled guy needs a homicidal symbiote to feel complete. It’s a cool concept for me. He value as an individual is shit but his transformation into “something” more has been a good read for me.

A few years back, he was in a coma, then he was some asshole gym teacher, now Venom, and all the while Pete’s “best” friend while still being a royal prick? Fuck that guy, kill him.
