Astro Announces Their New A50 Headset Just In Time For E3

Astro announces their next generation of A50 headsets.

Astro was not waiting till E3 to announce their new generation of A50 headsets. While the name may be the same the capabilities of the headsets are definitely not. They new A50 will have a wireless Base Station for docking and charging. Gamers can expect up to 15 hours of power from the New A50.  Dolby 7.1 surround along with a built in MixAmp will give you the best sound possible especially with games and movies using 7.1 on a more consistent basis. Command Center software and headset modding capabilities are also on deck for the new A50 which should not come as a shock for those familiar with Astro. The new A50 will have models for Xbox One and PS4 but are also PC compatible.  Let’s check out some pics of the new A50.

So how much is it? The headset will run you $300 and will available for purchase directly from Astro and from major retailers later this summer.
