One month left in 2020, and many onscreen battles left to showcase. It's time for a brand new installment of Film Fight Fridays. Film Fight Fridays is our weekly series showing our appreciation of the best fights captured onscreen, whether on TV or in films. Whether it's gunfights, sword fights, knife fights, or good old-fashioned fistfights, we will showcase them all here every Friday.
As a long-time Dragonball fan, many of my friends kept telling me to watch One Punch Man as I would dig the concept, and the fights were awesome. I ended binge-watching the entire first season and was blown away not only by the simplicity of Saitama's motivations and the enemies he faced throughout the series first season. The season came to a violent climax when Saitama faced Lord Boros in episodes 11 & 12. The fight was a hard-hitting slugfest with ample destruction and an ending I did not expect as we truly got a glimpse of Saitama's true power.
If you haven't watched One Punch Man, I cannot recommend it enough. A great protagonist and a fun story with some funny bits sprinkled amongst some violent fights. You can stream One Punch Man season one on Netflix and, of course, purchase the first season from our Amazon shop. Season two has been airing on Toonami sporadically.
