FINALLY! The final trailer for Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is here! That means we are very close to the continuation of the story. On June 10th, 2021, PS5 owners can (officially) play Cloud’s story. If you own the game on PS4, the base game is yours for free on PS5!
Please note that Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is a PlayStation 5-only release. The new story content is not available on PlayStation 4. Free upgrade PS5 owners will need to purchase and download the FF7R EPISODE INTERmission DLC. The episode will be available as a separate purchase for $19.99 starting June 10, 2021.
About Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade
The PS5 release realizes FF7R using all of the enhancements of the PlayStation 5. To the original release is added the episodic content of EPISODE INTERmission. In FF7R EPISODE INTERmission, players will fight as Yuffie, alongside Sonon. They will team up in all-new exciting battles against Shinra’s Director of Advanced Weaponry Division, Scarlet. You will also battle Nero, a member of the elite unit within Deepground known as the Tsviets. A new Summon Materia to call upon Ramuh, the fabled Lord of Levin also newly appears. The trailer also showcases gameplay of Fort Condor, a new tactical mini-game playable in FF7R EPISODE INTERmission.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade launches for PlayStation 5 on June 10, 2021. The physical version is $69.99. The digital deluxe edition is $89.99. Pre-orders are open now. Owners of the PS4 version do not need to purchase that content on PS5. If the PS4 copy is physical, you will need a disc-drive model PS5 to redeem and play your free copy.
