When it comes to the Defenders all eyes are on Netflix but the TV won’t be the only place to get your fix of Daredevil, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Jessica Jones as Marvel will be launching a new ongoing series focusing on these street level heroes in June with Brian Michael Bendis handling the writing duties.
My Take: The formation of The Defenders has been awesome to watch on Netflix and while each of the characters has their own shows along with the standalone Defenders series an ongoing series can do nothing but help get this team and its members in front of new comic readers. Bendis and Marquez are definitely a duo that will knock this out of the park!
