The Mega Man collections are always a solid value for fans of the blue bomber as the collections usually have enhanced visuals and special features. The latest collection from Capcom collects four Mega Man Zero games plus Mega Man ZX, and Mega Man ZX Advent. This marks the first time that these titles are being offered together on home consoles and PC.
Players on all platforms will have the choice of using either the original sprites or new HD ready sprites with smoothing filters. Both Zero and ZX games will also offer a casual scenario mode to ease difficulty plus a new save-assist feature to save the game mid-mission. Personally part of the fun of the Mega Man Zero titles was the difficulty as it forces you to think and figure out patterns but if the game proves difficult the option to scale it back is available.
The Mega Man Zero/ZX Collection will be available on the Xbox One family of devices including Xbox One X, PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, Nintendo Switch™ system, and Steam. The collection will be available at MSRP $29.99 on January 21, 2020, both digitally and at North American retail locations for consoles. PC players will be able to purchase the digital edition on Steam.
