2K today announced the release of the first of many planned free DLCs for NBA 2K Playgrounds 2, the acclaimed two-on-two arcade basketball game from developer Saber Interactive for the PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
This new update is available today on PS4, Xbox One and PC, and on Switch at a later date. Introducing an exciting Halloween playground, an assortment of Halloween-themed outfits (available via Swag Pack unlocks), a new lottery pick called the Ankle Breaker, and one truly frightful sight for your opponents: the addition of all-time great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to NBA 2K Playgrounds 2’s roster of unlockable players.
Today’s free update also features a number of improvements and balance changes cultivated from player feedback post-release. Look for refinements for character speed, blocking rates, and three-pointer percentages. There are also a variety of minor technical fixes to address issues with lag, AI and the shot meter.
