If you were lucky enough to go to the CW Upfronts, you got a chance to see some clips of their new fall shows. The only one I am semi-interested in, however, is the La Femme Nikita reboot simply called “Nikita”.

The series stars Maggie Q as the lead heroine, who is a spy and assassin gone rogue and out to bring down her former agency, Division. The series also stars Shane West (ER), Melinda Clarke (The O.C., The Vampire Diaries) and Lyndsy Fonseca (Katie in Kick Ass).

Nikita premieres at 9PM Thursdays this fall after The Vampire Diaries. Take a look at what is in store – will you be watching?

  1. I am pretty sure this is a “reboot”.
    Second American reboot too.
The original Nikita was a french film, then US remade it as “point of no return” with Bridget fonda.
The french film also has one of the funniest scenes in movie history, where the Karate teacher tells her to try and attack him, and she slaps the guy across the face with the quickest pimp hand I ever did see.
    Fucking hysterical.
Put in on netflix just for that.

  2. I take it this has jack to do with the old La Femme Nikita show that was on USA back in the day?

  3. I couldn’t listen to the sound at work right now, but by the body language, some of these people can’t act for shit, haha.
But I’d give it a shot, I liked the movie.
    Shane West needs work too.
