New York City is quite far from Los Angeles. Not all of us can make it to E3 every year. Even if we could, we know that independent games often do not get the shine that they need or deserve. This is what Play NYC is all about. A gaming convention open to press and public where indie developers from NY and the surrounding area get to showcase. If you are in the area today, definitely head to the Hammerstein Ballroom. Plan to be at Play NYC next year because R.A.G.E. Works definitely will!
Why You Should Attend Play NYC
R.A.G.E. Works loves to game. If you are reading this article, the odds are that you do as well. Regardless of how many games you have played in your lifetime, you have said “I have never heard of that.” Even one or two of the devs I spoke to yesterday said it. Play NYC gives you the chance not only to “hear of that,” but to play it as well. Mobil games, PC games, console games and surprises are all a part of this convention. There are no special requirements to get in other than your love of gaming so be sure to stop by.
Look for more articles over the coming days of games Slick encountered on the show floor. If you cannot get there today, I hope to see you there next year! For more information on today's showing and future events, visit Play NYC at https://www.play-nyc.com/.
