Also, if the rumors are correct, these aren’t the same Predators we’ve been seeing so far in the movies. These are a different caste. They’ve taken to genetically modifying themselves, and because of such, have been turned away from the rest of the Hunting tribes as outcasts because they’re unnatural and dishonorable. It’s like how we fire professional sports stars if they juice up. Game’s not fair if you’re juicing. Anyway, from what I heard, one of the first scenes we see of the Predators is of the genetically modified ones torturing and killing one of their brothers who refuses to modify himself (this one is known as “Classic” so far).
After watching the trailer I was pretty impressed. If ANY of those rumors are true: OMFG is this going to be awesome. The thing I’ve always dug about the predators is the whole honor system. I mean shit, Predator 2 was terrible, but the scene at the end with the elder predator tossing the flintlock pistol to Danny Glover as a sign of respect was awesome.

I’ve been reading the prequel comics for this, there’s a black guy that’s been on this Hunter’s Planet for decades, he has a record for killing Predators and has started using their tech and disguising himself as one of them to stay alive. If you’ll notice at 00:52, Lawrence Fishburn seems to be holding a Predator mask.
