RAGE Works x NN2D 2023 Holiday Tech Gift Guide

Ryobi Power Cutter: The holidays mean opening those annoying plastic blister packages and cutting up tons of boxes for recycling, and the Ryobi Power Cutter makes tackling both of those things a breeze. It is USB-powered and tackles cardboard, plastic, rubber, and even leather. Best of all, the USB lithium batteries are compatible with other Ryobi products. If you don’t have a Home Depot close by, you can pick one up from Worx on Amazon that works just the same.
Price: $59.99

Wowstick Electric Screwdriver: This is partially a recommendation for my fellow parents, but fellow tech nerds will appreciate this small and nimble USB-powered screwdriver. The Wowstick comes equipped with ample bits to tackle everything from little screws on toy battery covers to tightening up graphics cards in a PC case. I have even tightened glasses with it, and it has been a staple on my desk for the last year. If the Wowstick is sold out, there are plenty of excellent alternatives available.
Price: $59.99

Cync Dynamic Effects Neon-Shape Smart Light: When it comes to lighting, Cync is a top brand with reliable and creative solutions for homes and studios. For an aspiring YouTuber or Twitch streamer, Cync’s line of smart lights is a must-have. Their latest innovation is their full-color Dynamic Effects Neon-Shape Smart Light, a flexible light strip that bends and curves to form any shape you want on your wall, glowing with 16 million color possibilities. Their hexagon panels are also stellar, and everything in the Cync family of products is accessible and controllable through their app for easy, out-of-the-box usage.
Price: $119.99

Skullcandy x TMNT Push Active True Wireless Earbuds: Skullcandy is a popular headphone and earbud company, and this year, they celebrated the 40th anniversary of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with a great collaboration. Their TMNT wireless earbuds feature hands-free voice commands, enhanced functionality, and up to 44 hours of battery life, among other highlights. Complete with a green ooze color and a slimy-looking charging case. These buds are a radical choice for the turtle fan in your life.
Price: $79.99

Beats Studio Buds+: While it is a no-brainer to recommend the AirPods for iOS users, there are some of us who wield both Android and iOS devices. While you can pair AirPods with your Android devices, the Beats brand has carved out quite a niche for itself by making usage between both ecosystems nice and seamless, and before the AirPods adopted USB-C, Beats was making full use of it. The Buds+ has great active noise-canceling and offers spatial audio as well. Add in the attractive pricing and plenty of color options, and you have yourself a worthy alternative to Apple’s offering. The clear ones are on my radar as an extra pair.
Price: $169.99

Airpod Pro with USB-C Case: The arrival of the iPhone 15 and the adoption of USB-C eliminated a pain point for many folks who use USB-C on a daily basis. Apple took the chance to announce new AirPod Pro headphones, which now also have UBC-C along with wireless charging. If you have a set already, there is no need to pull the trigger, but if you are looking to give some AirPod Pros this holiday season, go for the ones with USB-C, especially if the intended recipient is already rocking USB-C with their other devices. They will be grateful to have one less cable to carry around.
Price: $249.99
