SNK Announces Samurai Shodown: NEOGEO Collection For PC & Consoles

SNK announced a new Samurai Shodown compilation today that many fighting game fans will be excited to get their hands on this summer. Samurai Shodown: NEOGEO Collection will collect seven games from the iconic series, including the unreleased Samurai Shodown V: Perfect, which has a new story as well as a new ending but maintains the gameplay style of the fan-favorite 5th installment of the series.

Samurai Shodown 1-5 Special will include both ranked and casual online play. The Samurai Shodown: NEOGEO Collection will come packed with plenty of features and modes to keep you busy, including a museum mode, history mode, developer interviews, and behind the scenes featurettes. Fans of the Samurai Shodown soundtrack will get a music player with over 200 tracks to choose from, spanning six titles.

When can you get your hands on the Samurai Shodown: NEOGEO Collection, and how much will it cost? The collection will retail for $39.99 and debut on PC first via the Epic Games Store on June 11, 2020. The Epic Games store will offer the game for free from June 11- June 18. Steam users will get the game on June 18, 2020. Console owners are not left out as the Samurai Shodown NEOGEO Collection will be released digitally on the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on July 28, 2020. Fans looking to score a hard copy of the game will get their chance, but as right now, there is no firm date for release only that it will arrive during the summer.
