The video game Remember Me released about three weeks ago and whether you love it or hate it, no one can deny the depth of the story. Nilin’s quest to recover her memories is only a small part of the overall tale. There is plenty of story left to tell about her and the other cast of characters that make up the world she lives in. Following the game’s release, author Scott Harrison aims to pull us further into that world with Remember Me: The Pandora Archive.
If you have read up on the history of Memorize, you know that much of Europe was devastated in a series of civil wars in which seismic bombs ravaged the landscape. As a result, Neo-Paris was built on the ashes of its predecessor. In a prequel story that takes place a few months before Nilin’s capture, Neo-Paris is being destroyed by bombings and the Errorist group, more specifically the Errorist Trix, is being blamed. A S.A.B.R.E. Force assault squadron is sent to Slum 404 to capture her but she manages to send The Errorists a coded message before that happens. Nilin has to decode it and her only hope is a tech expert called the Architect.
